Product Description: NBT/BCIP Stain Kit: NBT and BCIP refers to Nitro-Blue-Tetrazolium and 5-bromo-4-chloro-3-indolyl-phosphate respectively. When mixed together, BCIP is hydrolyzed and reacts with NBT, which then react with O2, forming visible purple precipitates in the presence of AP (alkaline phosphatase).The kit can be used for Western Blot, Dot Blot and In Situ Hybridization.
