Product Description: Thymol: Thymol (5-methyl-2-isopropylphenol) is a phenolic compound that is used to inhibit oral bacteria. Natural plant products such as essential oils have gained interest for use in pest control in place of synthetic pesticides because of their low environmental impact.Thymol is a substituted phenol used as cosmetic biocides/preservalives and/or fragrance ingredients. Thymol functions as a denaturant and fragrance ingredient in cosmetic formulations.
