Product Description: Coomassie Blue Stain Solution (Protein Stain-EZ A Ultra Sensitive) 1x Strength Solution: The Ultra-Sensitive Coomassie Blue Stain Solution, based on Coomassie dye (G-250), is an enhanced protein stain that offers unsurpassed sensitivity and rapid band visualization. Supplied in a ready-to-use format of 1XStrength Solution, the staining solution is added directly to protein gels following electrophoresis after a brief wash step. The solution is a sensitive stain that is able to detect as little as 5ng protein. Protein bands are visible in as little as 3 minutes, with maximal staining achieved in an hour. 200ng BSA is detectable in 5-10 minutes and the levels of BSA (5-8ng) become clearly visible after washing steps. The solution is sufficient for 10 minigels.
