Product Description: Super Agar Broth: Super broth is a rich medium used for obtaining high yields of lambda bacteriophage in liquid lysates 1. The large quantity of tryptone and yeast extract in this mixture provides the essential nutrients and growth factors needed to produce the increased yield of lambda phage. Sodium chloride is added to the mixture to help maintain a proper isotonic environment for the bacteria medium during the growth phase.
