Product Description: Taq Plus DNA Polymerase, 5u/ul: Taq Plus is a mixture of Taq and Proof Reading enzyme. Taq is a thermostable DNA polymerase isolated from a strain of Thermus sp (see product number D0089). Taq Plus is used to improve the reliability and yield of convenonal primer extension reacon. Taq Plus has two following advantages: High fidelity with an error frequency 1.6/10^6 ( or 0.0016/10^3) during DNA synthesis.Taq Plus increases the efficiency of polymerizaon reacon, resulng in a great percentage of extenuaon reacon compleon up to 10kb to 30kb. Taq Plus has a temperature opmum between 72‐78°C and remains > 95% acve following 1‐hour incubaon at 95°C
