Product Description: YPD Agar: YPD Broth is excellent for the propagation and cultivation of yeast, such as Saccharomyces cerivisiae and other yeast organisms. Peptone in the broth provides a rich source of carbon, nitrogen, vitamins and minerals for the organisms. Yeast extract and glucose provide nucleotide precursors and energy sources additional vitamins.
